Terrance Crawford Will Fight For Title At 154

Terence Crawford, 36, (40-0, 31 KOs) will move up to 154 pounds to fight for the title against Israil Madrimov, 29, for his WBA junior middleweight title Aug. 3 in Los Angeles. Crawford will be 12 months removed from the ring since his dominate ninth-round TKO victory performance over Errorl Spence Jr. to become the undisputed champion at welterweight.

Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs) won the WBA title when he scored a fifth-round TKO victory over Magomed Kurbanov last month in Riyadh on the undercard of Joshua-Ngannou. The event will be presented by Riyadh Season under His Excellency Turki Alalshikh. He’s the chair of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority in association with Sela Sport. This event will be the first in partnership with Crawford.
