Biaggio Ali Walsh continued carving out his own combat sports legacy in MMA when he scored another knockout win at PFL 5.

Pursuing a career in combat sports isn’t an easy choice under any circumstances, but being the grandson of the great Muhammad Ali means that Ali Walsh has faced a massive amount of attention with every fight he's taken. Despite still only being an amateur, the 24-year-old has steadily improved and continues to score big finishes after losing his debut in 2022.

Matched up with Travel Miller in a lightweight bout at PFL 5, Ali Walsh took the center of the cage straight from the opening bell and immediately chopped at Miller with a hard leg kick. The Xtreme Couture-trained fighter refused to give his opponent the space to mount his own offense, and after Miller recovered from an initial knockdown Ali Walsh began teeing off on him with punches against the fence before a left hook connected to signal the end of the bout.

Since being submitted in his amateur debut, Ali Walsh has now finished four-straight opponents with strikes inside the first round. This was the 24-year-old’s third fight for the PFL, and the promotion’s decision to include Ali Walsh in a “showcase” bout on the PFL 5 main card speaks to the significant profile and potential that he has.

The win was one of the quicker finishes at PFL 5, and it was also the second-fastest win of Ali Walsh's career after he scored a 45-second knockout in his PFL debut in 2022. This matchup also marked a step up in competition for the young lightweight, as Miller had previous kickboxing experience as well as five amateur bouts already under his belt.

The 24-year-old indicated after his win that he’s happy to continue developing his skills as an amateur, and no doubt fight fans will continue watching closely to see how far Muhammad Ali's grandson can go in his MMA career.
