Will Tschetter, Olivier Nkamhoua perfect as Michigan routs Youngstown St.

Will Tschetter scored a career-high 20 points on a perfect shooting night to lead Michigan to a 92-62 home win over Youngstown State on Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Tschetter went 8-for-8 from the field and made all four of his attempts from 3-point range for the Wolverines (2-0) to score in double figures for the first time in his career.

Olivier Nkamhoua had 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field to go along with 10 rebounds, Dug McDaniel scored 16 points and Terrance Williams II had 13 points and eight rebounds for Michigan.

In its first two games, Michigan has totaled 191 points.

The Wolverines shot 53 percent from the field (35-of-66) and outrebounded Youngstown State 41-31.

Bryson Langdon scored 15 points, Ziggy Reid scored 12 points and EJ Farmer and Brett Thompson each added 10 points in defeat for the Penguins (0-2).

Michigan held a 46-23 lead at halftime and continued to build its lead at the start of the second half. During a 12-2 Wolverines run, Nkamhoua had a dunk, two free throws and a 3-pointer to give Michigan a 65-30 lead.

Michigan more than doubled up Youngstown State when it took an 81-40 lead with 6:42 remaining. Youssef Khayat did the honors with a layup almost a minute after Tschetter's fourth and final 3-pointer.

The Wolverines reached 90 points with 3:56 remaining, but couldn't quite score enough down the stretch to eclipse the 100-point mark. Youngstown State scored the final 13 points of the game after Michigan led by as many as 43.

Michigan gained some separation midway through the first half, going on an 11-3 run punctuated by Tschetter's first triple to take a 29-18 lead with 8:18 left until halftime.

Later on, Michigan went on a 13-0 run over the final 3:36 of the first half to take its 23-point lead at intermission.

The Wolverines shot 54.5 percent (18-of-33) in the first half to the Penguins' 30 percent (9-of-30).
