Arizona State football closed the deal on another recruit. This three-star offensive lineman was another high school prospect on their official visit to Tempe in April. Kenny Dillingham and his staff have been extremely efficient at getting commitments from players during their official visit, the latest being Maki Stewart.

Maki Stewart commits to Arizona State football

Maki Stewart is an offensive line prospect. Stewart hails from Millikan High School in Long Beach, Calif. The three-star prospect ranks as the No. 870 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 57 IOL (247 Sports).

Despite being rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, Stewart has impressed scouts lately. Stewart has attended several workouts and camps on the West Coast boosting his stock over the past few months.

With this, Stewart has acquired several Power 4 offers throughout the past few months. Along with ASU, Stewart compiled offers from Florida State, Southern California, Utah, Texas A&M, and Arizona among others.

In March, Stewart released a five-school shortlist. Arizona State football beat out other finalists Florida State, Texas A&M, UCF, and Utah for Stewart.

Stewart adds to Arizona State’s 2025 class that was already top in the Big 12 and now No. 15 nationally (247 Sports). The Sun Devils have jumped up the recruiting ranking quickly to put themselves inside the top 25, and with likely more to come.

The last time ASU had a top-25 recruiting class in the country was in 2020 … the same class recruited illegally during the COVID-19 dead period. The ASU recently served the infractions for the violations committed by Herm Edwards’s staff.
