Deion Sanders knows that his Colorado Buffaloes have a target on their backs, and that's part of life in college football.
He's been unconventional with his roster construction in Boulder, and he hasn't been shy about pumping his guys up, or his coaching ability. What else would expect from Coach Prime, though? This is who he's always been.
Regarding a report from former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson that Oregon — which just beat the breaks off Colorado, 42-6 — received a ton of intel from other coaches from around college football on how to beat Colorado, Coach Prime took it in stride.

In fact, Deion does the same, but perhaps not at that level.
"That happens every week, that’s not just from [the] Oregon game that’s life,” Sanders said in a news conference (h/t On3).
“We all call for information as well, so it’s not a one-stop type of thing, but I know Keyshawn alluded to the gentleman saying that they have a plethora of calls trying to assist, which is understandable. That don’t make it no tougher, no easier, we understand that’s what we’re up against.”
Information sharing is part of the game, but it's also worth noting that there seems to be a contingent of people who just want to see Sanders fail at Colorado. Whether that's people who think Coach Prime is too cocky and needs to be pushed down a peg or two, or people who were unhappy with how he treated some of the previous members of the team that got pushed out.
Either way, Sanders wants his staff to be prepared. Teams are going to be preparing extra hard to beat Colorado.
“And I want our coaches to understand that we’re not just playing against a team, we’re playing against all of college football,” Sanders said. “It ain’t too many people lined up to see us dominate and to see us win, and they got to understand that as a whole and our entire staff has to understand you’re not just participating against that per se school.”
