George MacIntyre has been working hard for the Tennessee Vols on the recruiting trail since committing to the program back in January. The five-star 2025 quarterback out of Nashville, TN (Brentwood Academy) has been trying to get other top recruits to join him in Knoxville next year.
MacIntyre posted an interesting response to some recent recruiting rankings on Monday evening, hinting more good news could eventually be on the way for Josh Heupel and Tennessee.

MacIntyre has been doing work for Heupel on the recruiting trail on Twitter since his commitment. Recently, he's been reaching out to a number of potential receiving targets, including five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, who visited Tennessee last month, as well as two four stars in Chattanooga (Baylor) athlete Cameron Sparks and Memphis (Sheffield) WR Radarious Jackson.
MacIntyre also tweeted a congratulations to four-star in-state defensive lineman Ethan Utley, who committed to the Vols last week.

Some might say that he's simply trying to sell his school, which he is, but it's clear from responses from recruits that he has their respect.

As of the start of April, Tennessee has seven commitments, which is fewer than any other school ranked above them in 247 Sports' team rankings. As such, there is plenty of room for the Vols to move up if they can secure the pledges of more recruits during the spring and summer.
With one of the biggest names in the entire 2025 recruiting class singing the Vols' praises to some marquee recruits, it might be something that Tennessee fans could see happen.
Like MacIntyre says, we'll see in a couple of months.
