Rucci was a part of the 2021 class. He was the number one overall tackle in the state of Pennsylvania and the fourth overall tackle in the class. Rucci only played five games during his time in Madison as he redshirted his first year. Seeing as he is from Pennsylvania, it isn’t a surprise that he chose to go to the Nittany Lions. While the program has landed a lot of skill positions this week, Rucci will help them in the trenches which is equally as important.
There is a lot of pressure on Franklin and his staff to perform in 2024. The Nittany Lions have had good seasons but are never able to get past Ohio State and/or Michigan. This leads to them finishing second or third in the Big Ten despite a one or two-loss record. With the addition of so much talent, the expectation is that the team will go up a level next season. If they do not, there may be some changes coming to the coaching staff.
Penn State fans have to be happy about all of this talent coming to the program. Will we see more players flock to Happy Valley in the coming weeks?
