Watch: Alabama OLB coach Christian Robinson mic’d up in spring practice
Gary Cosby Jr.-Tuscaloosa News / USA TODAY NETWORK

Alabama football has had good coaches at outside linebacker to develop talent, but is Christian Robinson the next one?

Robinson played in the Southeastern Conference as a linebacker at Georgia from 2009 to 2012. He was on back-to-back SEC Eastern Division Championship teams in 2011 and 2012, totaling 159 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks for the Bulldogs from 2009 to 2012. Robinson has coached linebackers in the SEC at Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida, and Auburn, showing his expertise in the conference. The cameras for the Crimson Tide got him mic’d up in spring practice. Robinson inherits a talent room that has Quandarrius Robinson and Keanu Koht as leaders. The Tide also has Qua Russaw and Yhonzae Pierre who can light people up too. Robinson had a good spring coaching the guys, but he is prepared to have this unit eating in the coming fall.

A video of Robinson mic’d up in practice is below.

He wants to make sure the Tide returns to being elite on defense.
