Chris Rock brought his signature high energy to his Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance Thursday night, but the 56-year-old comedian was most thrilled about finally being able to take his mask off after getting vaccinated—calling himself "Two Shots Rock."
"I had a Pamper on my face 'cause I talk a lot of s—t, Jimmy," Rock said about his mask-wearing over the last year. "You know what's weird? I got to be not famous for a whole year. Yeah. It sucked! Why the hell would anybody not be famous? I had to wait in a line for things. You should see the ugly women I was dating while I was not famous."
Kimmel then asked if Rock had seen the recently viral video of an IHOP hostess turning away Adam Sandler.
"That's what those masks do!" Rock joked. "They don't know who it was. They thought it was Rob Schneider!"
Sandler had previously addressed the IHOP incident that really wasn't an incident at all:
For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.

And he was rewarded with milkshakes galore earlier this week:

It has been an equally big week for Rock, who was unveiled as Esquire's newest cover star and opened for John Mulaney's From Scratch set at New York City's City Winery—Mulaney's return to the stage after a 60-day stint in rehab for alcohol and cocaine addiction earlier this year.
