Current TBS Champion Kris Statlander recently received heaps of praise from a popular actor. The Hollywood star is none other than Ben Stiller.

At the AEW All Out Pay-per-view, the Galaxy’s Greatest Alien defended her championship against Ruby Soho. Both stars put on a tough battle. Both had wrestled with each other on numerous occasions. Each time they battled each other, Soho was the one who always had her hands raised. But this time around, the result was different. The Champion hit the Wednesday Night Fever to retain her title.

The TBS Champion made history by defeating Soho for the first time in her AEW career. Adding to this, a notable factor is that Statlander paid homage to Zoolander. Her outfit was inspired by Ben Stiller’s character in the Comedy film.

This tribute caught the eye of the Hollywood star. He reacted to the outfit via Twitter. He appreciated The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien with a dialogue from the film itself.

“Ridiculously good looking,” Ben Stiller tweeted.

It is to be noted that Statlander wore the same gear on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite. She defeated one of her longtime rivals Emi Sakura.

Kris Statlander responds to criticism about the AEW Women’s Division

Recently, Kris Statlander was part of a Starrcast Media Scrum. She addressed the criticism received by the AEW Women’s division. The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien asked the ones complaining about the division to step foot into the ring and attempt to do at least one thing they do inside the squared circle.

“I’d say I’d like to see them get in the ring and try to do anything that we’ve done. Of course, not everyone’s gonna like everything. Maybe not everyone works well together, but not everyone has chemistry with everyone. I think it’s unfair, a lot of what we see online is just based off of small clips, not the whole match,” Kris Statlander said.

The TBS Champion also mentioned that the women are doing everything in their power to work hard and receive as much praise as the men.
