Strumming in the Terminal, Writing in the Shower. This Country Icon Does it All.

It seems that New Zealand born, Australian raised, American superstar Keith Urban is full of surprises these days.  The four time GRAMMY award winning, singer, songwriter and talented guitar player is spreading joy in the most unexpected places.

This past weekend, Urban broke out in concert at the Nashville International Airport (BNA) of all places.  Urban was taking part in the airport's BNA Live program offering travelers entertainment before their flights.

Urban may have been the cause of some missing their flights, though.  Comments on the superstar's Instagram post about the engagement included things like, "I think I would have simply passed out if I was walking in an airport and saw this.  I wish I was lucky enough to have this happen anywhere near me!"  

Another one admitted, "I wouldn't mind missing my flight to see the whole thing."

Fly Nashville also posted video of the singer's performance on their Instagram.

Urban shared the experience with those who couldn't see it in person.

Urban is making some rounds on the media stage to promote the recently released new single, Messed Up As Me.  The song explores dysfunctional relationships and is a part of his 12th album.

That's not all the country music icon is sharing.  In a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights, Urban shared where he feels like he gets most of his creative inspiration.

Making the host blush a bit, his answer was simple.

"Oh the shower, always. It's always the shower," he said. "For everything. Every idea. My show ideas, everything. Guitar ideas, song ideas, lyrics, everything."

He even admitted that songs have been written in the nude.

"So sorry about that everybody. You can't un-see that," he laughed.

After being voted the 16th sexiest man in the world in 2008, that's an image many might not want to un-see.

Whoa, ladies. He's married and he's very happy.  Nearly 20 years into it, Urban and his beautiful wife, Nicole Kidman have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.  

The happy couple have vowed to always make time for each other and that's what they credit their marriage success. Their social media accounts are full of cute and "relationship goals" pictures.

The singer/songwriter has been busy. Though Urban hasn't released an album since the 2020 "The Speed of Now Part 1,"  speculation rises that a Part 2 is coming. The name of the album is unknown but Urban confirmed that an album is coming.
