These celebrities have made cameos on 'The Real Housewives'

The Real Housewives are celebrities now in their own right, but many of them have famous friends. These celebrities have made cameos on the various editions of the Bravo franchise.

Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis
Lionsgate

In a more recent celebrity cameo in the Bravo universe, Jamie Lee Curtis appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to promote her charity My Hand In Yours. Curtis, who has been friends with longtime housewife Kyle Richards since they filmed Halloween together in the late ‘70s, was deluged with compliments from Dorit Kemsley. The housewife couldn’t help telling Curtis her items were “so chic.”

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner
Friends at Work

Another friend of Kyle Richards, Kris Jenner, has made multiple appearances on the show, mostly at charity events held by Richards to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Jenner has also been the subject of years-long rumors that she’s the next L.A. County resident to join the franchise, but she and Bravo have yet to make any comments on such chatter.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton
Dream Entertainment Inc.

Kyle Richards has some seriously powerful connections, and many of them have appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with her. Before her mother joined the cast, Paris Hilton made cameos on the show at various events to support her Aunt Kyle, notably her fashion show that kicked off the tumultuous season 10.

Nicky Hilton

Like her sister, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton has made her fair share of appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she, too, was in attendance at Kyle Richards’ fashion show. Longtime fans of the show will remember Nicky’s wedding was a major plot line for Richards as it was happening amid a feud between her husband, Mauricio Umansky, and Rick Hilton. Richards attended her niece’s wedding, but not without some intense drama beforehand.

Boy George

Leave it to the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to bring iconic celebrity guests into the Bravo universe. Thanks to his friendship with Paul and Dorit Kemsley, we’ve gotten to see music icon Boy George pop up in a few episodes. Boy George even lived with the Kemsleys for a while, and he’s their daughter Phoenix’s godfather.

Aretha Franklin

Aretha Franklin
Universal Pictures

The Real Housewives of New York City have had their own epic celebrity cameos, too. Though no one in the cast actually spoke to or knew her, Aretha Franklin briefly appeared on screen in season 2 while walking the red carpet at an event in the Hamptons. A true cameo made by the Queen of Soul.

Candace Bushnell

You might be unfamiliar with Candace Bushnell but know this: Without her, we wouldn’t have Carrie Bradshaw. The author of Sex and the City is a true New York socialite, and she’s gotten to know some of the ‘wives throughout her career. Her appearance on the show is memorable thanks to Dorinda Medley delivering one of the best lines in all of Housewives history: “I’ll tell you how I’m doing: not well, b*tch.”

Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams
Studios USA

Wendy Williams has had a long relationship with one of Atlanta’s most iconic ‘wives, Nene Leakes, and her name has been dropped in the show several times, including the season 12 reunion. Though Williams has never appeared on the show, she has spoken to Leakes on the phone for a scene. If there’s anyone besides The Housewives who regularly delivers iconic soundbites, it’s Wendy Williams.

Betty White

Betty White
Touchstone Pictures

Many a Real Housewife has claimed to be an actress over the years. To Heather Dubrow’s credit, she’s actually scored parts in recent years, like her guest role on Hot in Cleveland. Part of her time on set was filmed by Bravo, leading to an incredible cameo by the one and only Betty White, one of the stars of the sitcom.

Valerie Bertinelli
Larry Levinson Productions

We got to see Valerie Bertinelli on our screens for the same reason we saw Betty White. Bertinelli starred alongside White in Hot in Cleveland, so she popped up in the same scene when Heather Dubrow was filming. The cameo appearances Dubrow is responsible for are enough to put her among the GOAT Housewives.

Patti LaBelle

Hallmark Hall of Fame Proudctions

There are many ‘wives from the OG Jersey cast we’d love to see make a comeback, and chief among them is Caroline Manzo. Because of her son, Albie, we got to see legend Patti LaBelle on Bravo — many thanks to Caroline for her lasting influence on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

David Foster

David Foster
Instagram @davidfoster

It’s easy to forget that many of the ‘wives, especially those in Beverly Hills and New York City, have some very famous friends and, in some cases, husbands. To us, they’re just the kooky ladies who throw wine at each other for our entertainment. But some of them, like Yolanda Hadid, had spouses in high places. The former Beverly Hills wife was married to David Foster, and he was included in several scenes while she was on the show.

Babyface

We’ve also got Yolanda Hadid and David Foster to thank for our Babyface cameo. And we’ve got Brandi Glanville to thank for how uncomfortable it was. While at a dinner party, Glanville brazenly told the musician that the engagement ring he gave his wife was too small, much to the shock and dismay of some of her castmates.

Steven Tyler

Steven Tyler
Jersey Films

David Foster also got us a cameo appearance from Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. The musician, like others before and after him, performed on stage while the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was in attendance.

Andrea Bocelli

Andrea Bocelli
NBC Universal

The final, and perhaps most unbelievable, cameo appearance a la David Foster was from Andrea Bocelli. The supremely talented singer serenaded the Beverly Hills ‘wives in an episode, leading to a moment fans hoping the moment was not lost on the intimate audience.

Wilson Phillips

Instagram @wilsonphillipsmusic

If you think the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can get anyone in Hollywood to make a cameo on their show, you’re not too far off. The band Wilson Phillips also made an appearance on the show when they performed in Kyle Richards’ backyard. Honestly, what celebrity doesn’t Kyle Richards know?

Kelsey Grammer

Kelsey Grammer
Grub Street Productions

Long before The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was what it is now, a bona fide icon of the silver screen made a cameo appearance. Kelsey Grammer was married to one of the OG cast members, Camille Grammer, and graced us with his presence for a few scenes. Unlike many of the husbands, though, he didn’t show up on screen much.

Faye Resnick

Faye Resnick
Faye Resnick Instagram @fayeresnick

Though she’s certainly not as well-known as some of the celebrities who’ve shown up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Faye Resnick is a famous figure in her own right. She’s made several appearances on the show over the years thanks to her friendship with Kyle Richards (of course), and she even earned herself a nickname. Does “the morally corrupt Faye Resnick” ring a bell?

Allison DuBois

Allison DuBois
Allison DuBois Instagram @mediumallison

The first few seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were truly something. They brought some of the best dinner parties, including the one where notorious medium Allison DuBois appeared to tell the ladies their futures. Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards are still together, so her readings must not have been entirely accurate.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj
LBI Productions

Though she didn’t make an appearance in the actual footage, Nicki Minaj did show up to the Potomac reunion to moderate for a bit (much to Andy Cohen’s pleasure, we’re sure; that man needs a break). The rapper is a huge fan of the show. We’d love to see other celebs join the reunions, too. Rihanna, anybody?
