Zach Galifianakis says his two sons 'think I’m a librarian'

Zach Galifianakis attended the Los Angeles premiere of Ron's Gone Wrong on Tuesday—not that his sons would know.

"My kids think I’m a librarian somewhere. They don’t even know," Galifianakis told Entertainment Tonight, referring to his career and fame. "They think I’m an assistant librarian somewhere."

The 52-year-old actor, comedian and filmmaker added: "You wanna protect their innocence as much as possible. They’re just children. People used to come up to me and be like, 'Oh, my kids love The Hangover,' and I'm like, 'You’re a terrible parent.'"

Galifianakis joked that his kids "shall never know" of his role in the 2009 comedic cult classic The Hangover and plans to "deny it" by claiming "I had nothing to do with that movie."

Galifianakis married Quinn Lundberg in August 2012, and they share seven-year-old and four-year-old sons. The eldest's name has never been revealed, while the youngest is named Rufus Emmanuel Lundberg.

Ron's Gone Wrong, meanwhile, is "the story of Barney (Jack Dylan Grazer), a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron (Galifianakis), his new walking, talking, digitally-connected device, which is supposed to be his 'Best Friend out of the Box.' Ron’s hilarious malfunctions, set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship."

The voiceover cast also includes Ed Helms, Olivia Colman, Rob Delaney, Justice Smith, Kylie Cantrall, Ricardo Hurtado, Marcus Scribner and Thomas Barbusca. Watch the trailer below.
