Chelsea assistant coach Jesus Perez has avoided suspension after his dismissal against Brentford last week.

Perez was sent off after a clash with the Bees bench in the 2-0 home defeat.

He has since accepted the FA's charge and been fined 4,000. However, no ban was included in the ruling.

As such, Perez will be in the dugout for Monday's game at Tottenham.

Blues manager Mauricio Pochettino stated earlier in the week: "I think he deserves to be fined, to be punished because you cannot go. I need to apologise to Brentford coaching staff because we cannot go into the Brentford area.

"He knows he made a mistake. Being fair he wanted to win, wanted to help the team to get the ball and to start the play. I think the attitude of Jesus, we want this type of behaviour but he forgot that this season is a new rule, if you go to another technical area, it's enough."
