Hands up if you predicted Carmen Electra's name returning to prominence thanks to a sports documentary! Well, none of you probably did, but that is exactly what happened. 'The Last Dance' on Netflix, which chronicled Michael Jordan's time with the Chicago Bulls, proved to be a massive hit and while Electra was mentioned in the documentary, she also happened to play a small role in it.

Electra was married to Bulls star Dennis Rodman in 1998, just as the Bulls dynasty was coming to an end, and in the show, she had some things to say about her ex-husband. That put her back somewhat in the spotlight and she now plans to join OnlyFans to give her audience a closer look into her life. She spoke to People's magazine about her decision and how she hopes to reclaim her image.

(via People's magazine):

"I just felt like, 'Yeah, I need to do this,'" Electra explains. "I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me, telling me, 'Don't do this, don't do that. Cover up this.' "

Electra was a big star in the 90s and was seen as a sex symbol, so it is perhaps a bit unfair to say she returned to prominence just because of the Last Dance, but it definitely played a big role in it. She was also in the news back in 2019 after filing a lawsuit against a strip club for using her likeness on social media for promotion.

That is another reason why she plans to join OnlyFans, as a means to control what she is portrayed as to the audience, and rest be assured, she is going to have a pretty large audience sooner rather than later. She mentioned in the interview that her account will include beauty tutorials, vacation content, swimwear, and lingerie photos, as well as "more sexy, classy pictures and videos," while allowing her to be "a little bit more intimate" with her fans in one-on-one interactions.
