Fans Troll Tyron Woodley For Saying He Will Box Manny Pacquiao – ‘Bro Got KO’d By Jake Paul, Zero Chance Against Manny’

Tyron Woodley has shocking claimed that he will box Manny Pacquiao this year.

The news has come out of the blue, given Woodley’s poor performances in the ring. He suffered two losses against Jake Paul, both of which were before Paul decided to focus on fighting pro boxers. The second bout was particularly damaging since he had been knocked out. But now Pacman has been mentioned as an opponent.

The eight-division champion retired from professional boxing in 2021. This was after he lost a unanimous decision to Yordenis Ugas, as he called time on his career. Since then, he has boxed DK Yoo in an exhibition, while he will face Mauy Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek in April. Since Pacquiao is not fighting in the Paris Olympics, Woodley may have secured a big bout.

If that fight does happen, Woodley will have to perform better than he did against Jake Paul. Woodley’s trainer, Pedro Diaz, referenced Pacman’s loss to Ugas to show Paul that anything can happen in the ring. Ugas took the fight on short notice and came up on top. The former UFC fighter was hoping to do the same, but unfortunately, he came up short.

Woodley And Pacquiao

“Boxing is not predictable. Ugas took the fight against Pacquiao at ten days’ notice and got the win, it’s the same this time with Woodley, so I think it’s possible he could beat Jake. Jake Paul has improved a lot, and I think Jake Paul is going to move a lot more in this fight than the first one because he knows what happened in the first fight when he stood in front of Tyron. Jake’s going to avoid going to war with Tyron,” Diaz stated

Pacquiao may have other options if he does not fight Woodley. During his appearance at a RIZN event last year, the Filipino announced his rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather stayed silent once the announcement was made, only to then hit out at Pacman for commenting on this. But since Mayweather did not refute the idea, boxing fans could see that rematch. Their only bout in 2015 resulted in a one-sided unanimous decision win for Mayweather, making him the greatest welterweight of his era.

Mayweather And Pacquiao

“Yeah, thank you so much for inviting me here again. I’m sorry for the last time that we promised that we’re going to fight this year. Next year I’m going to see you in Japan, again big fight against- Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather, yeah. I thought that you didn’t want me to say that. But I am excited about that. Thank you for always supporting Rizin and Sakakibara,” Manny said

“Manny Pacquiao spoke about that, and he shouldn’t have. Because there’s a time and a place for everything. I’m not going to say he’s right [about the fight happening] or he’s wrong. I don’t have to say anything. Just by you saying my name, they gave me a check for four million. I don’t like to throw certain individuals under the bus, because we don’t do that.

“[But], he said my name when he wasn’t supposed to. Remember, I said there’s a time and a place. Remember, I want you guys to go check out Manny Pacquiao. When he got upset a few times, he said ‘Oh Floyd, you’re using my name, you’re using my name’, he got famous because they said this could be the guy that could possibly dethrone the king. Did it happen? Absolutely not. Was he easy? Absolutely,” Mayweather stated
