Jason Sudeikis does the ‘you can’t see me’ hand motion after Iowa beats LSU in Elite Eight
Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

Actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis pulled out the ‘you can’t see me’ sign after Iowa and Caitlin Clark defeated LSU to advance to the Final Four on Sunday. Sudeikis was seen in the crowd alongside director Ezra Eddleman and appeared happy with the result as the Hawkeyes advanced.

Sudeikis, who is a noted women’s basketball fan at both the college and pro level, could be seen waving his hand in front of his face and laughing postgame. Of course, Clark made the move, which originated from WWE wrestler John Cena, famous after defeating Louisville to reach the Final Four in 2023. You can view the moment below.

LSU star Angel Reese gave Clark a taste of her own medicine last season by copying her “you can’t see me” hand movement after the Tigers won the national championship over Iowa in 2023.

Of course, it would be Clark and the Hawkeyes who got the last laugh this time around as she scored 41 points in the 94-87 win. It seems Sudeikis certainly enjoyed the Iowa win and we’ll see whether they can complete the journey and cut down the nets to win it all.
