The New York Mets acquired an outfielder via trade on Sunday.
According to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo, the Mets have traded pitcher Jordan Humphreys to the San Francisco Giants for Billy Hamilton.

Hamilton, 29, has not appeared in a single game for the Giants this season after signing a minor-league deal with the team in February.
The outfielder has recorded 73 defensive runs saved and 299 steals during his seven seasons in the majors.
Hamilton previously played for the Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals and Atlanta Braves. His career average at the plate is .242 and he's recorded 176 RBI's and 21 home runs.
