PFL Announces Start Date For 2024 Regular Season
Source: PFL

With the PFL vs. Bellator: Champs event just days away, the promotion has announced plans for the start of the 2024 regular season.

Unlike other MMA promotions, PFL uses a season-based series of events to crown champions. Starting with a regular season, qualifying fighters advance to the playoffs before competing championship night.

The 2024 PFL season kicks off April 4 in San Antonio, Texas. The next two stops of the first half will be April 12 in Las Vegas and April 19 in Chicago.

PFL also acquired Bellator MMA late in 2023 and will be putting on events there, along with international cards, throughout the coming year.

“The toughest test in MMA, the PFL regular season, just got tougher with the addition of stars from Bellator,” CEO Peter Murray said. “The PFL is excited to kick off the 2024 regular season in front of our great fans in San Antonio, Las Vegas and Chicago.”

From there, the seasons shifts to Las Vegas with light heavyweight and lightweights. Among those competing include reigning champion Ima Kasanganay, Phil Davis, Clay Collard and Patricky Pitbull.

The first half wraps up in Chicago with welterweights and featherweights. Magomed Umalatov, Andrey Koreshkov, Jesus Pinedo and Timur Khizriev will fight.
