Robbie Lawler retires in style, earns knockout victory in first minute at UFC 290

Heading into Saturday night, we knew this would be the final time Robbie Lawler stepped into the octagon. He announced his retirement heading into UFC 290, having one final battle against Niko Price. Lawler went out in incredible fashion, earning a victory in Las Vegas.

Just 38 seconds into the bout, Lawler was able to get a knockout win over Price. A left-handed uppercut seemed to do the trick as Lawler connected, separated himself for Price only to see him drop to the ground.

Lawler, who is considered one of the greats in UFC, will now always have this special moment surrounding his retirement. What a way to go out, earning a knockout victory in your final-ever fight.
