The Cole Custer Custard sponsorship is finally here. NASCAR fans online have wanted it for a while, and now it’s actually real. In what Stewart-Haas Racing calls a “Colossal Custer Custard Combo” the tasty sponsorship probably feels good for the organization.

Cole Custer is coming off of his Xfinity Series champion in 2023. That means he’s a hot commodity for certain brands. We have seen Andy’s Frozen Custard work with other teams in the past, including Richard Childress Racing.

Well, now they’re on a pony! The Andy’s Frozen Custard sponsorship is one that fans enjoy for the bright paint scheme, and of course, being a tasty treat. It looks great on Custer’s Ford Mustang.

This is going to be a multi-year deal for SHR and Andy’s. They will be featured on the No. 00 three times in the 2024 season. That includes their own title-sponsored race at Texas in April. Then they will join Custer as he tries to defend his win at the Chicago Street Course in July.

Finally, Andy’s joins Custer as he attempts to win on the Charlotte Roval in the NASCAR Playoffs. Very exciting races for this sponsor.

“We’re fortunate to have worked with some of the best companies and drivers in motorsports throughout our 30-plus years of commitment to the sport,” said Andy Kuntz, CEO and owner of Andy’s Frozen Custard, via a press release. “Stewart-Haas and Custer are no exception and we’re excited about the partnership. Not to mention, with a name like ‘Cole Custer,’ it’s as if we were meant to work together!”

Now can you say “Cole Custer’s favorite frozen custard” five times fast?

Cole Custer reels in new sponsor after championship run

It is good to be the champ. Cole Custer is already realizing that with this new sponsorship. There is a lot of “Haas” sponsorship on Custer’s car every season (and on the Cup Series cars) so having another sponsor come on board is never a bad thing.

I would say Custer is another championship favorite this season. He is going to be even more comfortable after his first season back in Xfinity from his Cup Series stint. Custer should be able to win early and often, ideally.

He will also have a new and improved teammate in Riley Herbst. After his first career win, Herbst might just go on a string of wins in 2024. Custer is experienced, he’s now a champion, and he has an improved team overall – things are looking up for the No. 00.

John Hunter Nemechek is gone, Josh Berry is gone. However, you’re going to see Sheldon Creed in JGR equipment. Sammy Smith in JR Motorsports equipment. Not to mention the breakout driver of the year in 2023, Sam Mayer. Oh, and the veteran Justin Allgaier.

It won’t be easy, but Cole Custer could go back-to-back in 2024.
