Jeffrey Earnhardt to drive multiple Xfinity Series races for Sam Hunt Racing
? Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Jeffrey Earnhardt will be back in the Xfinity Series in 2024, looking to rise up the ranks and notch some victories next season.

News came to light regarding Earnhardt’s plans for next season over the last couple of days. According to reports, the veteran wheelman will be running some races with Sam Hunt Racing again in NASCAR’s second-level series.

“Jeffrey Earnhardt will run ‘multiple races’ again with Sam Hunt Racing in the Xfinity Series this season,” Kelly Crandall of RACER posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Earnhardt will be in the No. 26 with Forever Lawn.”

Throughout his 11-year Xfinity Series career that features over 150 races, Earnhardt has never captured the checkered flag. It’s long eluded him, although he does have five top ten finishes and one pole. Perhaps this could be the season he finally breaks through to the other side.

The grandson of the legendary Dale Earnhardt, Jeffrey Earnhardt will always have his supporters at the track, and it’s never not going to be cool to see that last name on a stock car. He hasn’t been able to find Victory Lane yet in his career, but a lot of eyes will be on the Xfinity Series when he suits up next season.

Corey Heim also racing for Sam Hunt Racing in the Xfinity Series

In addition to Jeffrey Earnhardt, Truck Series star Corey Heim has been tabbed to drive a partial schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024 with Sam Hunt Racing as well.

The impressive NASCAR Truck Series wheelman will be behind the wheel for the team next season for a partial schedule. The team made the announcement last week, but haven’t announced just which tracks Heim will be racing at yet.

Still, excitement is growing for Heim to show his stuff in the Xfinity Series, as he’s proven to have immense potential so far throughout his NASCAR career.

“Bringing Heim Time into 2024,” Sam Hunt Racing posted on X. “@CoreyHeim_ will join us for a partial schedule in the @NASCAR_Xfinity Series starting at @LVMotorSpdwy! Heim’s full race schedule will be announced at a later time.”

The last time the NASCAR world saw Heim was when he and Carson Hocevar were battling for a Truck Series title. However, neither one of them walked away victorious as they let poor decisions get in their way.

Nevertheless, Corey Heim could be a name we see rise through the ranks in NASCAR over the next couple of seasons, so it’ll be fascinating to see how he performs.
