Sometimes, you just wanna go fast. Kurt Busch is in that mindframe, as he will drive a Ricky Bobby inspired car. Ricky Bobby, who was the star driver of Talladega Nights (played by Will Ferrell), drove the race at Talladega in a “Me” car. Sunday at the Aaron’s 499, Busch will don a similar car.
I must admit, this is very creative. It takes a lot of brains to come up with this and since Kurt Busch is in similar situation to Bobby, this makes a lot of sense. This season, Busch is very much him against the world. That is what happens when you are a hothead with no people sense. A spoiled brat finally got what he deserved and now he has to try to power a race team with limited funding.
At least they did a spot on impression of the car. Heck, they even got a stuffed cougar to sit on the car for now. Remember when Ricky had to drive around with a live cougar in his car? They couldn’t exactly replicate that, but this is the next best thing.
