RSS Racing has announced their second full-time driver for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Kyle Sieg is back in the No. 28 car. Both Ryan and Kyle Sieg are set to race full-time next year. There is one more car on that team that doesn’t have a driver attached to it, though.

The 22-year-old driver put together a season that was almost full-time this year. For Sonoma and the Chicago Street Race, he sat on the sidelines. However, he was able to put up a P7 finish at Atlanta this season, a career-best.

The Sieg family puts a lot of effort into their team. Ryan Sieg, 36, was able to put up three top-10 performances in the 2023 season. It feels like next year could be a big year for the RSS Racing crew.

The team is happy to have both Siegs on the track for next year.

In the last two years, with an inconsistent schedule, Kyle Sieg has managed a top-10 finish in each season. It doesn’t stop there, with rumors that his other RSS Racing teammate is going to be a big name.

Frankie Muniz rumored to be third RSS Racing driver

RSS Racing has three cars. The No. 28, 38, and 39. Ryan is going to drive the 38. Kyle is going to take control of the 28 for the full season. So, that leaves the 39 car. For that entry, the big rumors in NASCAR is that it is Frankie Muniz.

The actor took on a full season in the ARCA Menards Series with Rette Jones Racing. He’s a Ford driver and the manufacturer has seemed to take an interest in the Hollywood star. Make no mistake about it, Muniz has skill behind the wheel.

If not for mechanical issues and the fact his Fords were not as fast as the Venturini Toyotas, he would have been a top-3 driver in the series. His enthusiasm for the sport is evident and he just wants a shot as he nears his 40th birthday in a couple of years.

However, Muniz had sponsorship issues a year ago. Part of that was perhaps not saying yes to sponsors he should have while waiting for bigger ones that didn’t come. ARCA is a hard series to get sponsorship for to begin with.

So, Muniz and RSS Racing are tied together. Does that mean he has sponsorship? I think so. Muniz is very valuable if he’s in the Xfinity Series and it should help push sponsors to pull the trigger on the money machine.

No official announcement has been made, and in fact, RSS Racing almost distanced themselves from the rumors last month. Still, the rumors persist.
