Boban, do I have this right? You can fit 301 Goldfish crackers in your hand?

Boban Marjanovic: Yeah, that’s right! 301 Goldfish and the new hand dish will come out March 1 at 3:01 p.m. ET. You know, 301 at 3:01. It’s great stuff, trust me, it’s great stuff and you’ll see it for yourself!

I just have to ask, how did you all come up with the idea of how many Goldfish could fit in Boban’s hand? Tobias, was this your idea?

Tobias Harris: It was kind of my idea. You know, me and Bobi are competitors so when we were on set one day for another commercial, I was like “Yo Bobi, do you think you could fit more Goldfish in your hand than me?” Obviously I lost that bet because if I had won, it would be my hand being used right now, but from there, we kind of just went with it and obviously Bobi was able to hold 301 Goldfish and here we are.

Dropping on March 1st at 3:01 PM ET on GoldfishHandDish.com, the first-ever Goldfish x Boban Hand Dish will be released, which is an exact replica of your ten and three-quarter inch hand Boban that will hold 301 total Goldfish. First things first, Boban is giving you one of these right Tobias?

Boban: No! He has to fight like everyone else, there will be no friendship discount! Nah, I am kidding.

Tobias: I will be fighting with everyone else online on March 1. I told him that I do not want any kind of special treatment for being his best friend. I am fighting online and that’s how I am going to try and get my replica Boban hand. I think I am going to win, I like my chances.

Boban: Yeah, you will win. You will win, trust me!

Here’s the big question though Boban, you may have the biggest hand in the league, but Tobias, do you think you could come close to fitting 301 Goldfish in your hand as well?

Boban: Tobias definitely can because Tobi can do everything!

Tobias: I did try, but it didn’t work out. It did not work out, so I got to pass on that one. I’ll leave that one up to Bobi.

Did you give Tobias some kind of grin or mocking smile when your hand was chosen for this replica promotion with Goldfish? Does that put you a point ahead in this friendship race between you all?

Boban: No, no, no. I never liked to explore my hands like that, but it quickly became the thing over the years – me having the biggest hands in the league. Because everyone was bringing it up, I started to love it. Before it was always like let’s compare hands, let’s do this and I’d never do it. Then when they wanted to make this hand dish because I have the biggest hands in the NBA and I said let’s do it. Me and Tobi are best friends and I love that, but they did choose my hand!

I am a basic guy, my favorite Goldfish flavor is the original cheddar, but I do love the pizza ones as well. Which flavors do you guys like the most?

Tobias: It’s all about the Mega Bites.

Boban: Mega Bites! It’s fire, trust me. They are the best! For Mega Bites, you need my hand dish though!

Being one three different teams together and being traded two different times together is quite remarkable. Boban, did you put on your best John Wick villain face, march into your team’s offices and demand you both be dealt together?

Boban: You know, I put my suit on and I was like, “Let’s go, I need to finish some business. Tobias needs to go with me no questions asked!” Nah, it just happened that way to be honest. It is such a good story and I think someone needs to do a movie about me and Tobi. That would be so cool and they need to do it because everything happens for a reason and our journey is great. Our friendship is who we are and we have gone from gold friends to Goldfish!

Tobias, I think it was back in January that both of your teams had games in Los Angeles one weekend and there is a video online where Boban is shouting your name as you walk out of the hotel with a massive smile on your face. I love this video because it not only shows the bond you two have, but it also proves that Boban may be the goofiest and funniest person in the league.

Tobias: The goofiest for sure, but it was crazy because both of our teams were there and we were really just walking out of the hotel. I really had no idea he was there and I was going to run into him, but I was just so happy to see him! That smile I had was all genuine and just shows the kind of friendship we have because I was actually surprised to see him. I had no idea that they would be there at the same time as us. It just shows who he is as a person.

Boban: And I was thinking that they came from a back-to-back and they had a game at noon against the Clippers I think. When I walked back to the hotel, I didn't know that they had arrived and were staying at the same hotel we were at because a lot of teams like to separate themselves! Then the security guys told me that Tobias was about to come out and I was like, “No way, let’s do it!” I whipped my phone out to get his reaction and you should have seen it the other way too! You should have seen my reaction too because I was so happy to see him and by the way, he played so well in that game.

Tobias: That was a great moment. That was awesome to see him there.

What does your friendship with Boban mean to you and what is the best moment you’ve shared with him in the league?

Tobias: Honestly, just us being able to play together on three different teams. That’s special. All the commercials and everything is amazing, but being around my dude everyday, like that’s positive energy right there. Just seeing how he embraces everybody is always amazing and I think that that speaks volumes outside of how great of a basketball player he is, that he is an even better person. That’s really what it is all about, so just being around him any chance I get is something that I cherish. I also miss throwing the ball up to him for an alley-oop and knowing that nobody else is going to get the ball.

Boban, do you have a particular memory or some kind of prank you pulled on Tobias that sticks with you every single day?

Boban: No, because everything sticks with me. Everytime I am able to hang out with Tobias, it is great. Actually one great memory I have with Tobias is being out in Hawaii eating sushi. It is just all smiles all the time whether we are joking around or anything.

What was it like filming the Netflix movie Hustle and working with not only Adam Sandler, but some of your other friends and competitors in the NBA?

Tobias: It was a lot of fun for a ton of reasons. Everyone that was a part of it enjoyed being on the set and the best part was knowing that we were all going to be in an actual movie. For us to go out there and make it as great as it was. It is something that I will never forget being a part of and it's definitely something I will be able to show my kids one day and they’ll be like, “Wow, you were really in that!” I thought it came out great and being around Adam Sandler was just amazing. He’s so much fun to be around and he knows a thing or two about basketball!

Boban: I agree. It is a really, really great movie and I never thought I would be able to work with Adam Sandler in my life. I used to watch all of his movies when I was younger and of course he was a lot younger in those movies too! To work with him on a movie and personally for me, I was just blessed to be a part of this project. It is something I will remember for the rest of my life. Adam is such a great human being, he’s smart and his sense of humor is amazing. The advice he gave both of us was great.

Boban, given that you are a Hollywood star after your appearance in John Wick Chapter 3, did you have to give Tobias any acting lessons before he was on the big screen?

Boban: No because that is Tobias, he is good at everything! He’s really good at everything he does. Whether it is the movie or commercials, there are plenty of people helping us out and giving us pointers on what to do and how to just be comfortable. Tobias though, he doesn’t need help, he’s a pro!

Well Boban, you’ve been in John Wick, you’ve been in Hustle, what film is next and when should we expect to see you nominated for an Academy award at the Oscars?

Boban: Yeah, you never know! Maybe one time I will win and thank Tobias in my speech. You never know!

Tobias: If he invites me to his next movie, I am in. But if he doesn’t invite me, I’m going to be salty! [Laughs]

Boban: Tobias held my back when we were going to the red carpet for the premier of John Wick. He was there with me. We were together and we met Halle Berry together!

Tobias: Yeah, we met Halle Berry!

Boban: Well, I met Halle Berry before, but you met her for the first time! [Both Laugh]

Tobias we’ll start with you and I’ll ask you the same thing Boban, who is the funniest teammate you have and which of your teammates do you believe has the highest upside and potential in this league?

Tobias: The funniest teammate I have right now is probably Georges Niang. The most upside? I would probably have to say Tyrese Maxey.

Boban: You know… It is hard to talk about me but: Me, Me, Me! [Laughs] Me, myself and I!

Tobias what would you say is the best thing about Boban and Boban, what would you say is the best thing about Tobias?

Boban: For Tobias, I would say smart, great guy, great heart, great basketball player, great personality, great friend, not good driver.

Tobias: He asked me first and said one thing! I would say that my brother Bobi has the best personality. That is one of the best things about him.
