Watch: Warriors bench loses it over Blazers player's travel

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 137-122 on Sunday evening.

While the big news emerging from the outing was Stephen Curry’s career-high 62-point explosion, one slightly less significant moment that occurred during the game had the Warriors bench absolutely howling.

With a little over eight minutes remaining in the third quarter and Golden State up by 10, Blazers swingman Robert Covington got the ball and tried to take it full court the other way. Just as he was approaching the rim, his brain momentarily short-circuited and he randomly started dribbling the ball with two hands.

It was odd, to say the least.

When the Warriors bench saw what happened, they absolutely lost it.

Needless to say, Sunday night’s showdown meant a lot to Golden State. Two nights earlier, the team was thrashed by Portland 123-98. After that outing, there was a lot of talk from Damian Lillard about Stephen Curry’s recent struggles, which prompted a response from Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.

For now at least, it appears Golden State is back.

Will the success be sustainable? Time will tell.
