X-rays come back negative on Bradley Beal’s finger
Daniel Dunn-USA TODAY Sports

With a little less than three minutes remaining and the Suns trailing by two, Bradley Beal departed holding his right hand in pain during Phoenix’s devasting loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

It was one of two injuries that the Suns suffered in the loss, with Jusuf Nurkic missing the majority of the 2nd half with a right ankle sprain.

After the game, head coach Frank Vogel confirmed that Beal sprained his right ring finger. On the bright side, the x-rays came back negative, meaning Beal avoided any significant injury.

Beal commented on the injury, stating, “Caught in a weird, funky way, I think in somebody’s jersey.”

Before exiting, Beal had just 9 points on a struggling 4/11 shooting night. However, he did contribute six assists and grabbed five rebounds.
