An unlikely WR is turning heads at Ravens minicamp

The Ravens are entering the final day of their mandatory minicamp on Thursday and one surprising wide receiver has seen a lot of action the last few days.

According to reports, veteran WR Nelson Agholor " opened up team drills with a red-zone touchdown" on Wednesday and was one of "the most active pass catchers" on Tuesday.

Agholor, who signed a one-year deal with Baltimore in March, had just 31 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns with the Patriots in 2022

However, now playing with maybe the best quarterback he's had since entering the league in 2015, Agholor may be poised to have his best season yet.

Although, it won't be easy as the 30-year-old joins a loaded receiver room that includes Odell Beckham Jr., Rashod Bateman and Zay Flowers.

Agholor could see a lot of action, at least early in the season, if the Ravens want to ease back Bateman, who's returning from injury, and don't want to throw Flowers into the fire right away.

Either way, Agholor seems ready to take advantage of any opportunity he's given and is excited to see just how special this Baltimore team can be in 2023.

"You never win anything because you just bring a group of guys together," Agholor said. "Guys have to work hard. Guys have to hold each other accountable ... If we all push that way, I think we're going to land somewhere special."
