The silent standoff between Kyler Murray at the Arizona Cardinals will reach its next chapter this week following a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter that the disgruntled quarterback will skip offseason activities this week.
Cardinals’ QB Kyler Murray will not be at Arizona’s OTAs this week, as expected. All continues to remain quiet on his contract front, for now.

While attendance at OTAs is voluntary, Murray's absence doesn't inspire confidence he will be at mandatory minicamp next month.
Murray and the Cardinals have been at odds for months now over the state of the QB's contract. Arizona exercised the fifth-year option on Murray's rookie contract — which would guarantee him a salary of about $29 million — but Murray wants a long contract extension.
While talk on the contract front appears to be at a standstill, there has been a lot of outside chatter ever since Murray erased any trace of the Cardinals from his social media over the winter. He later tweeted he wants to "win a Super Bowl with the Cardinals" after former Cardinals Patrick Peterson and Chase Edmonds said they could see Murray playing for another team.
I wanna win Super Bowls with the Cardinals, AZ is home. https://t.co/xwEw42uDBl

Cardinals minicamp will run June 14-16.
