Erin Andrews sends Travis Kelce a photo of her son wearing ‘amazing ensemble’ from Chiefs star

Erin Andrews showed her appreciation to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for giving a gift to her son Mack. In an interview with PEOPLE, Andrews revealed that she sent Kelce a photo of Mack wearing the gift since he has not met Mack yet.

“Travis has been a little busy,” Andrews told PEOPLE. “I obviously gave him a thank you card and all that. And then when Mack grew into the amazing ensemble that Uncle Travis sent, I did take a picture of it and send it to Trav.But obviously he’s been super busy winning the Super Bowl and then taking a much-needed and deserved break with his girlfriend (Taylor Swift).”

Andrews went on to say that “Mack hasn’t really met any football players yet,” but he “has met his fair share of hockey players because of his dad [former NHL player Jarret Stoll].” Andrews also explained why Dallas Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer Charlotte Jones “looks up to” as a working mom.

“She has children and she works for one of the biggest franchises in all of sports,” Andrews said. “I remember being on the field with her during pregame before one of my games, and I was feeling really, really down. I just felt guilty that I was missing out on things with Mack.”

Shortly after Andrews and Stoll welcomed Mack in July of last year, she spoke to Today.com about her first weeks of motherhood. “I want the connection with him. I can’t wait for the chemistry. You know, I’m so far from being maternal in my life because I’m on a football field and I’m working with men,” she said. “I keep staring at him. I want to study everything about him,” she says. “I want to make up for lost time.”

Andrews seems to be enjoying motherhood, but she is also enjoying what Kelce has going on with Swift. In the early stages of the relationship, Andrews talked about how she and her Calm Down podcast co-host Charissa Thompson are responsible for Kelce and Swift getting together.

“Travis had gone to the Eras Tour, her concert, and I guess wanted to meet her,” Andrews said on the Today show in October. “He made a bracelet with his phone number on it. And … I don’t know what happened, they didn’t meet up. He made a plea on his podcast that he’d like to meet her.

“So, I saw it. I’m a huge fan of him, work with him, he’s great. … Taylor, I don’t really know who she’s dated except for what we’ve seen publicly, give our friend a try.”
