Giants add two kickers with Graham Gano (knee) out
Kevin R. Wexler - The Record / USA TODAY NETWORK

The New York Giants added kickers Randy Bullock and Cade York to the practice squad with Graham Gano facing season-ending knee surgery.

Head coach Brian Daboll confirmed Friday that Gano, 36, will be placed on injured reserve.

"Yeah, he'll have surgery upcoming here, so he'll go on IR," Daboll said.

Gano reportedly had been trying to play through the injury for multiple weeks before missing two field goals in last Sunday's 13-10 overtime loss to the New York Jets, including a 35-yarder in the final minute of regulation.

Gano made only 11 of 17 field-goal attempts in eight games this season.

Over 14 seasons with Washington (2019-11), Carolina (2012-18) and New York, Gano has converted 83.7 percent of his field goals (324 of 387) and 95.3 percent of his extra points (384 of 403).

Bullock, 33, worked out for the Giants after Thursday's practice. York, 22, was signed off the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.

"We're going to have two of them out here today and we're going to kick and do our normal stuff, and then we'll make a decision," Daboll said.

Bullock, who played in one game for the Giants in 2016, spent last season with the Titans and made 17 of 20 field goals and all 28 PATs in 15 games.

York was a fourth-round draft pick by Cleveland in 2022 and played in all 17 games for the Browns as a rookie. He made 24 of 32 field goals with a long of 58 yards and made 35 of 37 PATs.

The Giants (2-6) visit the Las Vegas Raiders (3-5) on Sunday.
