Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson join match at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

After a lengthy NFL career, Jason Kelce is officially retired. The Philadelphia Eagles center will forever be a legend of the franchise, leading the offensive line for over a decade. But with his life in football over, Kelce now has some time to enjoy different events.

One of those is WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Not only was Kelce in attendance but he joined the match alongside fellow Eagle Lane Johnson. A move the entire city was hoping they would see as they have been fan favorites.

Kelce and Johnson teamed up with Rey Mysterio and Andrade, helping them Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Pat McAfee being on the commentary only made the moment better once the Eagles tandem was celebrating their victory.

WrestleMania XL is taking place in quite a familiar place for Kelce and Johnson. Lincoln Financial Field is in its offseason too and is hosting the event on Saturday night. Throwing guys around is nothing new, though. But usually, opposing defensive linemen are on the receiving end.

This version at WrestleMania may have been a bit more enjoyable for them.

ESPN in pursuit of Jason Kelce for Monday Night Football

ESPN’s Monday Night Football is reportedly “aggressively pursuing” retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, according to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand.

“ESPN is planning another Monday Night Football pregame shake-up, according to executives with knowledge of the network’s plans,” Marchand wrote . “A year after a complete makeover of the set under the stewardship of Scott Van Pelt, Robert Griffin III’s spot is in jeopardy, while the network is aggressively pursuing retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce for Monday nights.”

ESPN is not the lone network to have interest in the popular longtime center. NBC, CBS and Amazon Prime Video reportedly have interest.
