NFL Week 2 Best Teaser

Week 1 featured more upsets than most could have expected, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should strictly ride underdogs for Week 2. Especially when it comes to a teaser. Last week's teaser missed by just one point — darn you Rodrigo Blankenship — but it's still OK to trust a couple of teams to win outright in your teaser for this week.

Any questions on whether or not the Kansas City Chiefs offense would look the same without Tyreek Hill have not just gone to rest, but been buried 10 feet under after the Chiefs put up 44 points against the Arizona Cardinals last week. As for the Dallas Cowboys, they might not win another game for a while. Quarterback Dak Prescott needs surgery on his throwing hand after fracturing his right thumb Sunday night against Tampa Bay, and there's no reason why you should trust Mike McCarthy and Cooper Rush to get the Cowboys offense back on track with Prescott on the sidelines.

Dallas is 5-7 without Prescott under center, and they're playing the reigning AFC Champs in the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Cincinnati is coming off a disappointing overtime loss to Pittsburgh, and don't be surprised to see Joe Burrow and the Bengals' offense get back on track this week.

Let's be clear here, the Dallas Cowboys defense is elite — especially Micah Parsons — and they showcased that against Tampa Bay, but without Prescott, they're going to really struggle to move the ball, let alone put up points. Heck, Prescott played more than half the game last week, and still, the Cowboys managed just three points.

The Bengals proved last year they can score with the best of them, and despite struggling offensively last week against the Steelers, expect them to get back on track this week. Burrow uncharacteristically threw four picks, and you can pretty much bet that won't happen again this week. And with the teaser you only need Cincinnati to win by two. That's worth putting big money on considering how bad things went two years ago when Andy Dalton had to fill in for an injured Prescott.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, not only am I high on them, the sportsbooks are too. KC opened the season as an 11/1 favorite to win the Super Bowl, but following last week's blowout over the Cardinals, that line has now dropped to 7.5/1.

Patrick Mahomes silenced all critics that were skeptical he couldn't be his same old self without speedster Tyreek Hill at wide receiver with five touchdown passes against the Cardinals on Sunday. Mahomes' chemistry with tight end Travis Kelce looked better than ever, and so did the connection between Mahomes and his new receivers.

At times the KC defense held them back, but that was far from the case on Sunday. The Chiefs sacked Kyler Murray three times and forced three fumbles. The final scored might not indicate this game was a blowout, but it was. Arizona got 14 futile points in the fourth quarter to make this game look respectable, but make no mistake about it, the Chiefs manhandled the Cardinals.

The Teaser Bet: Bet Kansas City (-4) to (+2) AND Cincinnati (-7.5) to (-1.5) (-110 odds via Barstool)

Bet $110 to win $100
