The Las Vegas Raiders really, really need a quarterback in this draft. However, they don't need just any quarterback—they need one who can change the franchise's future and make them an immediate playoff team. In order to get one of those guys, they will likely need a top-three pick in the draft.
The Raiders currently sit at pick No. 13 and could get a guy like Michael Penix, who is really good, but we aren't quite sure if he can be a franchise QB who can win games by himself. That's what the Raiders need.
Now, if they can't get one of those top-tier QBs in this draft, Penix would be perfect. However, we all know the perfect scenario for the Raiders would be trading up and grabbing Jayden Daniels, the guy everyone wants the Raiders to grab.
But that comes at a cost. Luckily, the Patriots are opening to trading their pick away, which makes the perfect scenario more obtainable.
"The more picks we have, the better," New England Patriots executive Eliot Wolf said.
#Patriots executive Eliot Wolf says they're open for business with the No. 3 overall pick and every pick they have in the draft. Wolf admits they have holes to fill on the roster and believes "the more picks we have, the better."

Moving from 13 to 3 would take a lot, but the Raiders should still do it. Mark Davis has given the green light to Tom Telesco to do whatever he needs to do. However, you can't overpay too much.
