Veteran WR reunites with former coordinator, returns to NFC East

Beasley spent the first seven seasons of his career with one of the New York Giants' biggest rivals -- the Dallas Cowboys. He registered 319 receptions for 3,271 yards and 23 touchdowns over 103 regular season games with Dallas, before signing with the Buffalo Bills in March 2019.

The 34-year-old Beasley connected with Giants head coach Brian Daboll during his first stint with the Bills, as the latter served as Buffalo's offensive coordinator from 2018-21. Beasley thrived in Western New York, frequently acting as quarterback Josh Allen's favorite short-yardage target.

He posted career-bests in receptions (82), receiving yards (967), yards per reception (11.8) and catch percentage (76.6%), among other categories in 2020, and helped the Bills advance to the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. After another productive 2021 campaign, Beasley didn't have the cleanest breakup with the organization the following year and after failing to find a trade partner for the slot receiver, the team released him in March 2022.

The shifty pass catcher out of SMU signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in September 2022, but played in only two games and made four catches for 17 yards on five targets. Beasley was on the field for just 13 offensive snaps during his time with the Bucs and retired last October.

The wideout unretired in December to re-sign with Buffalo and made two catches for 18 yards in two regular season games, before adding five receptions for 68 yards and one score in two playoff tilts.

Despite now being in his mid-30s, Beasley could help Daniel Jones' offense. With Isaiah Hodgins projected to be New York's No. 1 wide receiver and running back Saquon Barkley's status very much in doubt, the G-Men may need all the help they can get if they want to be back in the playoffs next winter.
