Watch: Bills QB Josh Allen out-runs Chiefs defense on goal-line TD

On a second-and-3 from the Kansas City Chiefs 5-yard line, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen executed a perfect play call.

Allen took the snap and stepped forward as if he were going to run it up the middle before pulling back and showing pass, freezing the Chiefs defensive backs just long enough to roll out to his left, breaking an arm tackle from defensive end Charles Omenihu and walking in for a 5-yard touchdown.

The score put the Bills up 10-3 less than two minutes into the second quarter, and it was Allen’s second rushing touchdown and fifth total touchdown of the postseason.

Allen now has four rushing touchdowns in 10 career playoff games, and he’s scored a rushing touchdown in the playoffs in three of the last four years.

Allen had five carries for 26 yards and the score at time of publication. He rushed eight times for 74 yards and a touchdown in last week’s 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during Super Wild Card Weekend.

The Chiefs entered Sunday’s matchup with one of the better defenses at limiting rushing touchdowns, tying for the fourth-fewest allowed during the regular season (10).

Kansas City had allowed just four rushing touchdowns in its last eight games before Sunday’s divisional-round matchup.
