Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert can do it all. Just ask Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
Facing a third-and-five early in the second quarter against the Dallas Cowboys on "Monday Night Football," Herbert stood tall, stared down Dallas' intense pass rush and completed a huge 10-yard first-down throw to...Justin Herbert.
That's right, he threw a first down to himself on "Monday Night Football."
That's about as legendary as it gets.

It's not completely unheard of for a quarterback to catch his own pass. Deflected passes ending up right back in the quarterback's hands happen more often than one may think.
Heck, NFL legend Brett Favre's very first completed pass in the league was to himself.

The difference between Favre's pass and Herbert's?
Favre caught the "pass" and was tackled for a massive loss. That's usually what happens in these scenarios.
Impressively enough, Herbert's pass and catch will go down in the stat books for 10 yards.
