The Evgenii Dadonov contract is great. It can come with peace of mind knowing he has a permanent home. Dadonov spent the last year split between the Montreal Canadiens and the Dallas Stars. Once the trade was complete, he found new life under head coach Pete DeBoer.

Dadonov scored four goals, 14 assists, and 18 points with Montreal. Furthermore, he had 15 points with Dallas in just 23 games. The move helped elevate his game as he has played under DeBoer before. Dadonov is a steady middle-six winger with an offensive upside. In addition, he has hit the 60-point plateau once as well as a career-high of 70. In the right system and right coach, those buttons can be pushed.
