Aaron Wan-Bissaka Set to Stay at Manchester United

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had an incredible resurgence under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. Wan-Bissaka had been the back up to Diogo Dalot since the start of the season.

The English defender has made a step up and some could argue that he is performing better than his fellow right back. Wan-Bissaka has come off the bench in the past few weeks and made an incredible impact.

The most notable performance was during the carabao cup final at Wembley. Wan-Bissaka came from the bench at half time and totally took control of his position helping United to the trophy.

There has been plenty of speculation during the summer and winter transfer window that Wan-Bissaka would leave United. However, It is now understood that this situation seems to have changed.

According to a new report from Fabrizio Romano, Wan-Bissaka and Dalot have both impressed Ten Hag and his staff this season. Romano states that the club are happy with both players.

He says; “With Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s resurgence, Man Utd are more likely to spend money on other positions.”

“United at the moment are happy with Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but they will wait for what happens with the latter. Nothing is advanced with any right backs.”
