Amiens striker Andy Carroll denies he's considering retirement.

According to L'quipe, a career break has been discussed for personal reasons, as his family is still in England.

However, Carroll says a career break is out of the question.

"My plan is to continue playing. Of course I would like to stay one more year in Amiens," said the former Newcastle and Liverpool striker.

"If it is not possible, I will look for other opportunities where I will be able to play.

"At the moment I am not thinking about stopping my career. I enjoy playing football."
