Barcelona's Ez Abde, Philippe Coutinho, Sergino Dest test positive for COVID-19

Barcelona added three more names to its extensive list of players stricken with COVID-19 on Thursday.

Sergiño Dest, Coutinho and Ez Abde positive for COVID-19.

The players are in good health and self-isolating at home.

The team now has 10 players who have recently tested positive for the virus and will be out for Sunday's match against Real Mallorca. The contest will be the first game after La Liga's winter break.

In addition to Abde, Coutinho and Dest, the team has Jordi Alba, Dani Alves, Alejandro Balde, Ousmane Dembele, Gavi, Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti in self-isolation after positive tests. Per The Athletic, more than half of La Liga teams currently have positive cases on their team.

Barcelona is currently tied with Valencia CF in La Liga standings with a 7-7-4 record.
