Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill insists there's positives to draw from defeat at Newcastle.

Brownhill says they can learn from the loss.

He said, "It's gutting to come away with nothing again. It's a really hard place to come, they make it a fortress here, they've got some very good players and they ended up in the top four last year for a reason. They've got a really good team and they're doing well this year.

"But there's a lot of positives still to take - as much as it'll be hard to see with the result what it was but there were still some good performances out there. With the ball and creating chances, if we score in the first five or ten minutes with a big chance then the game would be completely different.

They put one in the top corner and then we were in the game up until the second goal which is a frustrating one, it's something we could have avoided, it's a penalty but you know I think try not to be too disheartened and go again on Tuesday."
