Former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez will be forever remembered for how he left the biggest club in Manchester for the Blue Noses.

After a transfer from West Ham, Tevez made 99 appearances for United, scoring 34 goals and registering 14 assists over two years.

Tevez has hailed Alejandro Garnacho, insisting he’s at one of the top three clubs in the world — adding Real Madrid and Manchester City to that list.

The former Argentina international has been speaking to TyC Sports about fellow countrymen playing in the Premier League.

Tevez believes Garnacho has what it takes to be a star in the Premier League.

“Garnacho is good,” Tevez said. “To play for Manchester United you have to be good.

“He’s playing for one of the top three clubs in the world, which are Real Madrid, Manchester United and United.

“It is not easy for Argentines to insert yourself into that culture (British). To play there you have to be a crack.”

Of course, Tevez knows the Premier League better than most Argentines. He made 202 appearances in England after spells with three clubs: West Ham, Manchester United, City.

Knowing a thing or two about the Premier League, however, does not make one an expert in ranking clubs throughout Europe. It’s a bit bold to suggest City are one of the three biggest clubs in the continent – let alone the second biggest in England. Their claim to fame is their status as second biggest club in Manchester.
