AC Milan are preparing for a massively important summer. Stefano Pioli will leave the Rossoneri, and as a result of that, the squad will likely face a fair bit of change. With that in mind, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada have been at Milanello today to support the side and observe some players.

There is a lot that will change in the next few months. A new manager will be named, and the squad will have to adapt to a new formation with a new idealogy. However, the head coach will not be the only area of change.

Olivier Giroud is all but confirmed to be departing, and others could too, with Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan reportedly being looked at by several clubs. Therefore, the Rossoneri must approach the summer fully prepared.

Today, Manuele Baiocchini has told Sky (via MilanNews) that Moncada and Ibrahimovic were present at Milanello to assess the squad but also to inspire them in a difficult period, ensuring that the team remained focused on the season instead of letting their heads drop.

Given there is still much to play for, including a substantial financial pot, Milan must move forward differently from what they have recently. If they don’t, there could be several casualties.
