Mario Balotelli has sent a message to Roberto Mancini after the Italy boss complained that he did not have any available strikers.

The former Manchester City striker has become a journeyman since leaving the Premier League, venturing all over Europe to play football.

Balotelli is currently playing for Swiss Super League side, FC Sion and has hit out at the Italian manager after he complained about the availability of strikers.

“I have no idea why so few forwards come out. we are really very limited in the offensive department.” Mancini said.

“We have three teams in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, but out of three teams, there are seven or eight Italians at the most. This is the reality.”

Balotelli replied with an Instagram post, the caption read, “There are strikers in Italy and they are fit, trust me.”
