Juventus-owned Frosinone loanee Matias Soule scored perhaps the most impressive goal of the March international break with an spectacular, improvised finish for Argentina’s U23 side in an international friendly with Mexico in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Soule scored Argentina’s second in an eventual 4-2 victory in the Mexican city of Mazatlan.

The 20-year-old received the ball on the bounce from a cross delivered from the right flank, before fooling everybody with a half-flick, half-dummy, which ended up floating into the upper corner of the net.

Soule has enjoyed a fruitful breakthrough season in Serie A in 2023-24, providing 10 goals and two assists from 27 appearances in the league this campaign.

The Juve youngster is attracting plenty of interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with several Premier League clubs including Newcastle and Aston Villa reported to be admirers.
