Real Betis move for Aston Villa ace Philippe Coutinho

Aston Villa star Philippe Coutinho is reportedly heading back to Spain to resurrect his career.

The Brazilian was previously at Barcelona, where his career hit a stumbling block after an excellent spell at Liverpool.

Failing to impress at Barca, Bayern Munich, or Villa, Coutinho is now a transfer target for Real Betis.

Per The Sun, Coutinho was denied a 17 million move to Qatari club Al-Duhail due to injury.

Now he is fitter and is hoping that he can get a loan move done to resurrect his career.

Villa are happy to let him leave, as a loan would remove him from their wage bill this season.
