Tottenham Hotspur moved up to fourth place after defeating Nottingham Forest 3-1 in their recent Premier League fixture.

The game saw star midfielder James Maddison having a promising outing, directly contributing to Spurs’ final goal and creating four chances overall.

He was actively involved in the attacking play, with six touches in the Forest box and eight passes into the final third. (FotMob)

Just before the end of the first half, Maddison was involved in an off-the-ball incident with Nottingham’s Ryan Yates.

As Yates marked the Englishman and prevented him from receiving the pass, Maddison appeared to punch him. Yates went down, seemingly attempting to exaggerate the situation.

But Maddison was lucky not to be sent off as it could easily have been a red card.
