AEW Dynamite live results: Moxley vs. Hobbs IWGP World title match

Jon Moxley makes his first defense of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on tonight's AEW Dynamite. 

Moxley defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP title at NJPW Windy City Riot earlier this month, and defends against Powerhouse Hobbs of the Don Callis Family on tonight's episode. 

New AEW Champion Swerve Strickland will take on ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher tonight in a World title eliminator match.

After defeating Julia Hart for the TBS Championship at Dynasty, Willow Nightingale will have a title celebration on tonight's show. Willow will defend the TBS title against Mercedes Mone at Double or Nothing next month. 

New FTW Champion Chris Jericho will speak on tonight's episode. 

Chuck Taylor will be forced to declare whether Orange Cassidy or Trent Beretta is his best friend on tonight's show after Beretta's recent turn against Cassidy. 

Mina Shirakawa will also be in action on tonight's show against Anna Jay.
