Cora Jade is going to be out of action for a while.

The 23-year-old was injured on an NXT house show on Saturday. Her match against Lyra Valkyria was stopped early after Jade appeared to land awkwardly on her leg.

Our own Dave Meltzer has confirmed Jade suffered an ACL tear.

"The Cora Jade knee injury from the weekend house show we talked about on the show last night is an ACL tear," Meltzer posted to X.

Jade joins a growing list of wrestlers on the NXT roster who have suffered similar injuries recently. The issue was discussed by Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Sunday evening's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio

"(Jade's) knee's apparently not looking good, perhaps a torn ACL, which I know a lot of in NXT have suffered the torn ACL. So, whatever's happening I don't know," Alvarez said.

"I've had people - this was before Cora Jade was hurt, this was when Sol Roca went down and a couple of the others, Wendy Choo, Nikkita Lyons -  just telling me that they were questioning the method of training when it feels like all the women - Tegan Nox got two of them, one on each leg I believe - just questioning what they are doing in training because historically women don't get torn ACLs left and right," Meltzer responded.
